In 2019, WIJeindhoven recognized the limitations of its existing control system, which was unable to adapt to the rapid pace of legal and regulatory changes. This system, deemed business-critical, supported 18,000 active support plans and processed 100–150 daily notifications. However, it lacked the flexibility to scale and adapt to changing requirements, and the high cost of traditional custom development was not a feasible solution. WIJeindhoven needed a more agile, cost-effective approach to sustain its operations and fulfill its mission.
